What is a backlit or halo-lit sign?
A backlit sign is lit from behind instead of from the front. The letters or logo stand off the wall, and LEDs inside shine backwards so the light spills onto the wall around each shape — creating a soft halo glow. The result looks refined and high-end, which is why it’s a favourite for offices, clinics, salons, restaurants and modern homes.
We build backlit signs as reverse-lit channel letters, lit logos for reception walls and backlit address numbers for homes and buildings — all made to your design and finish.

Backlit Signs — FAQ
What’s the difference between backlit and halo-lit signs?
They’re often used to mean the same thing: letters or logos lit from behind so the light glows onto the wall around them. “Halo-lit” describes the ring of light the effect creates.
Can backlit signs be installed outside?
Yes. We build exterior backlit letters for building fronts and plazas, as well as interior signs for lobbies and offices.
Do you make backlit house numbers?
Yes. Backlit address numbers are easy to read at night and give your home a modern look. See examples in our portfolio.
